The Billy Bob Scenario:
There was Billy Bob who bought a house. After he bought his house, he bought some furniture for his house. Billy bought a car. He bought a boat. Now he needs a truck to drive his boat. So he goes buy a truck. He gets married and he buys a wedding ring. Now Billy and Jane are living together. They have a kid. This my friend is called the American Rat Race.
The TLS Scenerio:
There was a person named TLS who lives with his mom in the back apartment. Instead of buying a house he learns how to buy a rental property. He is still living in his apartment. Now, TLS buys a duplex with two units. Then TLS goes buy two trailers. Now TLS' mom is mad because he has 4 houses and is still living with her, she wants him out the house NOW! So, TLS goes buy a house. The other rental properties pays for his own personal house. Then he buys his car. His rent houses are paying for brand new car too! TLS gets married and buys a car for his wife.Then he refinances his rent houses and goes buy a tri-plex. The tri-plex pays for the new truck that TLS traded in for his car.
